Re:Amalia (Demo)

    Re:Amalia tells a story about a man and his inability to overcome denial and delusion, especially his refusal to let go of a departed someone he loved. So much so that he would rather destroy the world than be without them.

   You play as a girl named Amalia, who manages to (mistakenly...?) get entangled between a power struggle of two clandestine organizations. Whether or not she has a say in her path she'll have to figure out what she managed to get involved in, and how to get out of it.

Some things she'll have to overcome include, but are not limited to:

• A bloodthirsty octopus that's waiting for its next meal 

• A hyperintelligent worm that thinks toying with you is fun 

• An Assassin that decides to save you for some reason

   This is the demo version of my project, and I just wanted to put this out to get feedback.

   It covers about 1/5th of the game, which should take no more than 60 minutes to complete.

    I don't plan on changing too much when it comes to the dialogue, even if some of it might be boring, as some things that are said tie into important plot later on in the full game. but I do plan on improving the art in the full game release. though I'll probably just include the better art in an update when I have the time. 

   This took about a month and a half for me to finish, and I would expect no later than early march for the full game release. (I already have the whole story planned out in my head, and I am spending 8-10+ hours every day working on this.) 

    That being said, I plan on updating this page periodically to give updates on how close I am to finishing the game and maybe show a sneak peek every now and then... (As much as an early release seems likely in my personal opinion, I'm making no promises since I'm fairly new to game development and it might take longer due to my lack of experience, specifically the art. I've never drawn a day in my life because of my essential tremors.)

I had no one (besides myself!) to playtest this, so please don't hesitate to share your thoughts or tell me if anything is glitched/broken
